As the Founder of Golden State Heart & Vascular, Dr. Joye is proud to have built a practice that embodies his philosophy of personal, community-based, cutting-edge care. Dr. Joye has nearly 30 years of experience in endovascular intervention, limb salvage, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, and complex coronary intervention.
As a leader and innovator, Dr. Joye is renowned for having invented several medical devices that help patients with cardiac and vascular disease. He has taught advanced interventional cardiology techniques to countless physicians, helping them achieve the best outcomes for their patients. Dr. Joye received the Medal of Merit for outstanding contributions to medicine and the Konneker Medal for entrepreneurship and innovation.
Dr. Joye earned his DO degree from the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at Ohio University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Cardiology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, where he served as Chief Interventional Fellow.
